Woodturning can be dangerous!
There are a multitude of dangers in Woodturning. Some are obvious – the fast spinning piece of wood and the sharp edges of the tools are obvious to everyone. However some are more subtle – the dust generated by abrasives or the electrical wiring hidden in machinery.
We mean business
We have a comprehensive approach to Health & Safety (H&S) and you can read the details in the documents linked below. If you have ANY concerns about H&S the PLEASE raise them with any committee meber – H&S is everyone’s responsibility and you may have spotted something everyone else has missed.
